Owner, Accountant

Deborah Jackson

Deborah Jackson has 30+ years of experience in accounting, and for the past 16 years, she has been the owner of Jackson & Associates Bookkeeping & Tax Services, a firm that handles tax problems, tax returns, payroll processing/reporting, and non-profit accounting. Mrs. Jackson specializes in problems that relate to the IRS, and she has specialized training working with nonprofit organizations. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for providing bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services to businesses and individuals.

Mrs. Jackson holds a master’s degree in accounting and financial management, which she earned from the Keller Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Valdosta State University. She is also a certified Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Provider per the IRS’ standards and general requirements. 

Mrs. Jackson currently has a non-profit organization that provides services to families in need and she also sits on the board of 3 other non-profit organizations. She will be more active in the nonprofit world in the coming years.

Tax Preparer

Timothy Bryant

Since 2018, Timothy Bryant has been a vital member of the Jackson & Associates team. As a certified and skilled tax preparer and financial strategist, Timothy’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

● Organizing and maintaining corporate accounts for more than a dozen companies
● Making recommendations for better use of savings, investments, and bank balances
● Performing tax accounting and audit defense procedures for individual clients and small businesses
● Planning key financial strategies for small businesses, ensuring their protection against audits and market fluctuations, and
● Communicating with clients and proactively seeking timely feedback to maximize client satisfaction

Timothy also has a reputable, professional military background, having served as an engineering technician, a construction inspector, and a draftsman at the Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, between 2014 and 2017.

Tax Preparer, Business Consultant

Armaletha Ford

Since 2020, Armaletha Ford has demonstrated an incredible work ethic and proven to be a valuable team player at Jackson & Associates! A woman of many talents, not only is Armaletha a skilled accounting professional and tax preparer with superior organization skills, but she is also a business consultant and the owner of Little Royalty Learning Center, Inc., a childcare service that she founded in 2008. Her passion for children, teaching, accounting, and business administration, all allow for an extensive and well-rounded skill set, including:

● Several Years of Sales Management/ Promotion Experience
● Data Entry, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Billing, and Accounting
● Exceptional Public Relations with Strong Communication Skills
● Computer Program Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
● Medicaid Systems (Fmmis, Medifax)

When she is not working with children or managing client accounts and data at Jackson & Associates, Armaletha engages her passion for hair care and beauty. A registered loctician and Certified Sisterlocks® Consultant, she provides her expertise and services through her business, Fabulous Connections.

Aileen Gibbs is the proud owner of LAG & Associates Tax Services & Notary, partner of Jackson & Associates Bookkeeping & Tax Services, Inc.
